NZCA – WOMEN’S GROUP

The next meeting will be held on

Meadowbank Community Centre, 29 St Johns Road, Meadowbank (Next to Barfoot and Thompson’s) along from Countdown

Janice Chandler will be speaking about her experience of The Silk Road Route and Uzbekistan. She will also be talking about history of the area, the people that live there and their way of life in ancient times as well as the modern day. She will also be bringing some textiles, jewellery and ethnic clothing to show.

Please come along and also bring a friend to enjoy a fun and social afternoon. Afternoon tea will be served.

Non-members : $3

A raffle will be held during the afternoon $1 for 1 ticket or $2 for 3 tickets (no obligation to purchase).

Organised ONE DAY Trip to Helensville and Kaipara Boat Trip

Unfortunately there have been 2 cancellations so will accept the first 2 to register

Will keep you updated - weather forcast seems favorable !

Be prepared , casual dress, comfortable shoes,wind-breaker and bring :

drink, camera, sunhat and other appropiate gear for sun or drizzle,

walking stick ? ipod , reading glasses [ again don't forget your own lunch for the Boat ]

8am Pick up from Greenlane McDonald. Then head for Helensville

8:45am Toilet stop at Helensville & short walk at the water front.

9:45am Arrive at Spring Road wharf 4208466 / 0274-970654 (Terry)

10am – 1pm Boat trip. ( Bring your own lunch )

1:30pm – 2pm Helensville historic township tour.
