Our next meeting for the NZCA Women’s Group will be held on Saturday 16th May, 1.30pm at the Meadowbank Community Centre,

29 St Johns Road, Meadowbank (next to Barfoot and Thompson).

 

Unfortunately Nancy Young’s talk and demonstration on “Digital Camera and Computers”  is now CANCELLED due to technical difficulties and no technicians available.  Nancy will do her demonstration on 20 June as originally planned.

 

However, at short notice we are having

 

·        a games afternoon.  The last time we had an afternoon playing games it was very popular and enjoyed by all.   There will be Mah Jong – if you have your own set please bring it along with you.  If you have not played Mah Jong, this is the ideal opportunity to come and learn.

        Please bring along your own games, i.e. Backgammon, Chess, Monopoly, Snakes & Ladders, Pick Up Sticks, Playing Cards to play 500,

        Poker, Snap etc. etc.

·        a book swap.  If you have read books/novels and no longer want them, bring 2 or 3 along and exchange them with others.

·        a demonstration on making Chinese pancakes with Goh Choy.

 

Come along for a fun and social get together.

 

Registration Costs:  NZCA members:  $2.00;  Non-members:  $3.00   – to cover costs of hall hire and afternoon tea.

 

Raffles will be drawn during the afternoon.  $1.00 per 1 ticket  or  $2.00 for 3 tickets (no obligation to purchase).
