OUR NEXT MEETING FOR MARCH IS A TRIP TO COROMANDEL ON SATURDAY 9TH
MARCH
We will be visiting the following places:
Will take a train journey through a 3km scenic mountain railway, see great views of the Peninsula and Hauraki Gulf. There is also a working Pottery, and art shop which you can purchase.
The Waterworks -
There are 70 different attractions, many mechanical Kiwi ingenuity, a
lovely garden setting where you can have lunch, can also buy lunch at
their café, ride on a bike that pumps water, 6 acre garden with lots of
native flora and fauna, a water clock that keeps time, and many more to
see
We hope to arrive into Coromandel early so that we can have wonder around the town for a short time
If you wish to go on this trip cost is $55 – This includes cost for the bus trip. Entrance toDriving Creek Railway, and the Waterworks
Bus will be leaving 7.30am sharp from outside MacDonald’s, Greenlane and will return to Auckland approx 6.00-6.30pm. Be sure to be on time.
